Job Description |
Ensures that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining Maria's reputation and culture. |

Job Responsibilities: |
- Maintaining high standards of food, service and health & safety.
- Combines strategic planning, organizing shift patterns, and day-to-day management activities to achieve the highest efficiency.
- Co-ordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts;
- Managing staff throughout their shift and providing them with feedback;
- Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards;
- Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations;
- Dealing with customer complaints in a positive way.
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies;
- Helping out in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
- Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
- Co-ordinate Take-out, delivery orders and catering events.
- Work with Kitchen Manager to ensure recipe constistency.
- Control waste, adhere to earth-friendly principles.

Education: |
Understand, speak and write fluent English. A second language is a plus.
Must be computer proficient. |

Required Experience |
A minimum of 2 years of current, full-service restaurant management experience. |
